Ramadan 1446 at SLMCC
Ramadan Announcement
SLMCC UK is pleased to announce that the first day of Ramadan 1446 will be on Saturday, 1st March 2025.
Tarāwīh prayers will begin tonight (Friday, 28th February 2025) after Isha Salah (Iqamah: 8:00 PM).
Ramadan Arrangements at SLMCC
- The masjid will remain open for all five daily prayers. The Ramadan prayer timetable is available for download on our website and in printed copies at the masjid.
- Tarāwīh prayers will follow the same structure as previous years, with a complete recitation of the entire Qur’an, concluding on the 29th night.
- Tarāwīh will be led by:
- Shaykh Thalha Siddiq
- Hafidh Abdurrahman Munawar
- Hafidh Ahmed Anas
- Hafidh Arbaaz Malik
- Hafidh Faik Faizeen
- We will also be having guest recitors throughout the month.
- Qiyām al-Layl will be performed from the first night of Ramadan, with a Khatm completed in 20 days.
- First 20 nights: 12:00 AM (Khatm will commence from 10th night with conclusion on 29th night)
- Last 10 nights: 1:15 AM
- Iʿtikāf will be at full capacity this year for brothers. To reserve your place, please contact the masjid office.
- The sisters’ prayer space on the first floor will be open for all prayers and programs.
Special Ramadan Programs
We are honoured to welcome Shaykh Arkam Nooramith for the last 20 nights of Ramadan, during which he will conduct lectures and programs in English and Tamil.
Additionally, guest scholars will join our resident scholars in delivering beneficial sessions throughout the month.

Iftar Arrangements
- Daily Iftar will be provided for brothers and sisters who wish to break their fast at the masjid.
- To sponsor an Iftar, please visit the masjid office to make a donation.
Zakāt al-Fiṭr & Eid Arrangements
- Zakāt al-Fiṭr is £6 per family member and must be paid before Eid prayer. Collection will begin from the 2nd week of Ramadan.
- Sadaqah & Zakāh donations can be deposited at the masjid.
- Eid-ul-Fiṭr prayers will take place at:
- 6:30 AM
- 7:30 AM
- 8:30 AM
- 9:30 AM
- 10:30 AM

Guidelines for Congregation
Please adhere to the following guidelines when attending the masjid:
📍 Arrive on time and park considerately, ensuring no obstruction to driveways or entrances. Recommended parking spaces are listed on our website.
📍 Enter and leave quietly to avoid disturbing neighbours.
📍 Supervise children at all times and keep them with you.
📍 Place shoes neatly on the designated racks.
📍 Respect masjid volunteers as they are implementing SLMCC management’s requests. For concerns, please contact the office.
