Sri Lankan Muslim Cultural Centre UK proudly presents the annual SLMCC Community 7-A-Side Football Tournament on Sunday, 13th July 2025 from 11.30am to 8pm at the Silver Jubilee Park Stadium, Townsend Lane, London, NW9 7NE.
There will be a range of tournaments (7-a-side with 2 Substitues) for different age categories, including exhibition match for Nursery & Reception children. The venue has a pavilion with seating facilities for over 150 spectators. Food, including lunch and snacks, will be available for purchase at the venue.
Age Categories & Entry Fee:
1. Nursery, Reception & Year 1 (Exhibition Match) : £5 per player
2. School Year 2&3 : £45
3. School Year 4&5 : £60
4. School Year 6&7 : £60
5. School Year 8&9 : £70
6. School Year 10-13 : £90
7. Age 19+/Open : £120
8. Age 50+ : £90
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• Registration closes on Thursday, 10th July 2025, at 9:00 PM. Participation is limited, and teams will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Submit your application to SLMCC, 2 Whitefriars Av, Harrow, HA3 5RN, along with the correct entry fee. Teams with unpaid fees will not be considered for the match draw
• The match draw will take place on Friday, 11th July 2025, at 9:00 PM at the SLMCC.
• Tournaments will be held for each age/year category, subject to the minimum number of registered players/teams.
• All players must bring a valid photo ID for age verification, such as a valid passport or driving license. Oyster cards will not be accepted
• The captain is responsible for ensuring that all players are present at the venue on 13/07/25. In case of any complaints, captains need to provide ID for age verification
• Any misbehaviour by a player will lead to disqualification of their team from the entire tournament. The decision of the referee and management will be final
• Drinking alcohol, smoking, and bringing alcohol into the ground area are strictly prohibited.
• All players are recommended to dress according to Islamic Sharia principles.
• Player/s, at their own discretion, may choose to join a higher age category if they are unable to find a team in his/their designated age group/s or possess the skills to compete at a higher level.
• For a given tournament, a player can only participate in a single age category.
• Players must wear ASTRO TURF FOOTWEAR ONLY (no metal or blade studs/moulds), and shin pads must be worn by all players to avoid disqualification.
• All teams are expected to be available to play matches continuously, with a reasonable break time of 15-20 minutes between matches.
• Full details of the tournament, including terms and conditions, will be provided to the captain on the day of the draw.
• Any team found with player(s) not mentioned in the submitted team sheet will be disqualified.
• The organizing committee will have the final decision regarding participating players.
• Each team will be photographed before the start of the tournament, and all members must be present as per the team sheet provided.
• SLMCC Management will capture photos and videos of this event for future promotional purposes.
• The Awards ceremony will take place at the end of the tournament. If you are unable to wait until the end, you may collect the award at the office the next day. No early presentations will be conducted upon request.
• Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be available for sale on the event day.
• Providing false information will result in disqualification from the tournament, and no refunds will be given under any circumstances.
• Information provided shall be used by SLMCC Management for future SLMCC events and activities.
ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE A CLEAR AFFILIATION OR ASSOCIATION WITH SLMCC. A MAXIMUM OF TWO (2) NON-AFFILIATED PLAYERS WILL BE ALLOWED PER TEAM, PROVIDED THEY ARE DECLARED TO THE MANAGEMENT BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT BEGINS. ANY TEAM FOUND TO HAVE INELIGIBLE PLAYERS WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL FROM THE MANAGEMENT WILL FACE DISQUALIFICATION.
Only members attached to AL-Falah Educational Centre and SLMCC shall participate in this tournament.
To register your team, please collect an application form from SLMCC and submit it on or before 9pm, 10th July, 2025.
